Gates at this site are closed at all times but not locked (maybe overnight, we didn't check). Don't arrive before 3pm as no-one in reception and you have to wait outside gate. We had to do this and owner/employee not very happy at us blocking entrance! However after initial huffing and puffing everything was absolutely fine, got to choose our pitch and help given to put caravan in best position. Small area for tourers/tents, rest of site which is extremely large, is made up of caravans which look like they have been there for years. Good toilet/shower facilities and showers free. Good washing machine/drier. Site was quiet when we were there. Nice spot next to large lake/park, walk round lake takes about 75mins. Surrounding area nice but not as picturesque as other areas previously visited. Lovely rolls in morning delivered to site. No wifi here which is a pity though hot spot available at café in park next door. Restaurant facilities but we didn't try them.
