This campsite was ideal for visiting the nearby sluice and bird reserve, on foot or by bike. You can cycle on off road paths along the coast either way. The site is well laid out and has very nice new washrooms, as well as a small attractive cafe, with take-out. Very friendly and helpful owners. We were amazed to see a hare near our van one evening!

Very large well spread pitches with trees, bushes and grassy areas. It felt like you were in the middle of the countryside; on our visits to the facilities block we often encountered a hare. Handy for visiting Ribe, but the bus is very expensive - in hindsight we should have driven there as parking would have been no problem.
