Nice quiet campsite with good facilities, such a change. We travelled the length of France and this was the only site to provide loo paper, hand soap, and a hand drier. Are we the only people to wash their hands after using the loo?
Anyway, back to the review. The owners are friendly and helpful and have a nice café, had a drink there but did not eat. The pitches are a good size, level and the one we used had hedges to separate. Easy to use grey water emptying. Only small problem we had was the barrier is automatic going out but the owner has to let the car back in.
Site is in a super location only a few minutes walk to the restaurants and shops. A nice walk along the river is just round the corner.

A gem of a site, well situated and near enough to Cherbourg and Caen for an overnight stop. The staff (Christal and Fabrice) were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. We stayed early June when the D Day celebrations were taking place so was pretty busy. Facilities were good and clean. Snack Bar food was well cooked by Christel. Definitely return for another visit.

This is a very good site. The staff are friendly and helpful. Pitches are spacious and well kept. The toilet facilities are clean and adequate. In high season the small number of showers could cause problems when busy. The sites location close to the town makes it ideal of you want to leave the car and walk. Plenty of shops, cafes and bars in Carentan. A good site for the invasion beaches etc.

The campsite was very busy because of the D-Day events taking place and the owners could not cope as they were trying to do everything themselves with no help. Consequently the showers and toilets especially the small toilet block went uncleaned. Also the boiler broke down twice during our stay so there was no hot water. The campsite is in a lovely spot close to the marina and town.

We stayed here in May, very quiet but very comfortable. Helpful owners/staff, nice pitches. Shower block not as good as some but OK.
Nice location with easy access to La Port and the town.

Grass pitches OK even after rain. Snack bar open even early season and food and drink fine. Proprietors in second season and excellent, very accommodating. Will come back on the way home.

Very welcoming site with good facilities. The wardens were very accommodating and friendly and the pitch we were given, which backed onto the race course, was large and well screened with trees/bushes. WC/shower/washing up facilities all good. We ate in the snack bar. The choice was fairly limited but the food was well prepared and the service was good. We will return if we are in the area again.

One of the best camps that we have ever been to. Wonderful staff, great surroundings, charming town... A lot to see in the area. We are definitely going there again.
